How is a brake upgrade selected for a vehicle?

A brake upgrade starts with the vehicle's current brake setup, wheel fitment and intended use. Calipers, discs, pads and fluid need to be considered as a package. Sri Kuching's cases document different packages for Toyota Vellfire, Suzuki Jimny and Suzuki Swift Sport, with installation and braking checks recorded for each job. Compatibility is assessed for the individual vehicle.

When to contact the workshop

  • You want to discuss a brake package for your vehicle's intended use.
  • You are changing wheels or an existing brake setup and need fitment checked.
  • You want a caliper, rotor or rear-disc upgrade matched to the current system.
  • You want to compare a brake repair with a performance upgrade.

What the service can cover

  • Current brake-system inspection and upgrade consultation.
  • Vehicle-specific caliper, rotor and pad selection.
  • Installation, fluid service and bedding-in arrangements where required.
  • Post-installation checks of fitment and braking operation.

From inspection to the agreed work

  1. 1

    Define the intended use

Share your model, wheel specifications, existing modifications and what you want to change about the brake setup.

  2. 2

    Confirm the package

Discuss the proposed calipers, discs and supporting components before fitting. A bolt-on package in one documented case does not establish fitment for another vehicle.

  3. 3

    Install and check

The published upgrade cases record installation, pad or fluid work and bedding-in or braking validation appropriate to the package.

What to send before your visit

Send the exact model and year, wheel size and details of existing brake modifications. Photos of the current wheels and calipers help the fitment discussion.

Brake Kit Upgrade: your questions

Do you install FECCR brake kits?

Yes. Published cases include FECCR 6-piston caliper installations on Toyota Vellfire 40 Series and AGH40 vehicles, plus FECCR FR5 monoblock calipers on a Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S.

Can I upgrade the rear discs too?

The Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S rear oversize-disc case documents that work. The right rear-brake option depends on your vehicle and its existing setup; confirm the package with the workshop.

Will a larger brake kit fit my existing wheels?

Fitment must be checked before installation. Share the wheel and vehicle details so the workshop can assess the proposed kit and explain any compatibility limits.
